    Personal reasons. Nothing dramatic.

    Packing Up

I don't think I'm allowed without breaking forum rules. If you check out the obvious site and search Falcon Pipe I'm sure you'll see it.

    Packing Up

Friends I am packing up the pipe. In fact I am packing up smoking. Various personal reasons and maybe not forever but certainly for the foreseeable future. I'll probably still have the occasional cigar here and there as the mood strikes. My Falcon Pipe collection is for sale as a joblot on that...

FS: Part Open Tins and US Tobacco Joblot (3-17-25)

Friends, I am packing up smoking with the exception of an odd cigar. Various personal reasons. Therefore I am offering my opened tins PLUS two unopened US tins generally unavailable here in the UK, as a joblot. Comoy's English Blend opened Comoy's Cornish Mixture opened Samuel Gawith Cabbies...

Looking for ID on heirloom estate pipe

I have no idea other to say that I suspect the 79 is not the year but probably the model or shape number I'd guess. Google shows a few appearing on eBay from time to time but no other details. There is a Peterson shape 79 that is very similar but with a different finish and stem, mouthpiece etc...

Yet More Blends I’d Like To See

Of all those Dr Phlegm is the winner. 100% perique infused with Obas Oil should do the trick....

    Bowls for Falcon pipes: compatibility

    UK Pipe Smokers

I'm in the sunny South of the UK. I think I have met or seen around two or three people since I started smoking a pipe that do as well. I took, tend to smoke at home in solitude and I imagine that's quite a common thing, so maybe more of us around than first meets the eye. Especially as smoking...

Explaining My Absence, The Death of My Wife

What a terrible start to the year my friend. My condolences and of course, prayers, for you and your family. May God have mercy on her, may perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in peace. And peace to you, brother.

I like the look of the meer lined snifters. Especially in the darker ebony like finishes.

    Less is More

    Very similar situation.

Those snifter bowls really suit the bent Falcons. Good choice.

    Less is More

Just adding to this thread with a slight update. Still only using four pipes and happy with it. But I've today drastically reduced my burgeoning collection of 'museum' stuff. I've basically taken out everything that isn't Falcon or directly related. Cabinets look way better than before. And...

And finally, a Falcon box set empty which I've rehoused an unboxed set into of similar vintage.

Bagged a even rarer Falcon made in Ireland stem.... And die stamp 1. Lovely bowl too.
