...but it goes so well with my other favorite addictive chemical caffeine!

    What are You Reading Now?

"And when young, he was an unparalleled horsemen, which caused the Army to not assign him to the cavalry, predictably. " As retired Army (and a stint in the Air Force), I laughed and nodded knowingly at this statement haha.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

I just got the larger tub, and smoke it quite a bit now. Funny, the first time I got it in a tin, and couldn't stand the stuff, but something kept drawing me back to it, lol.

    Short Churchwardens

Check back on the MM site periodically -- They seem to sell out but restock. I picked up a "Pot O' Gold" from them last week, and that was always "sold out" every time I checked.

Carter Hall in a Shire Cobbit cob -- bought a pouch after years since I last had it on a whim, and forgot how much I liked the stuff. I ordered some Chatham Manor shortly after, to compare later. Drink: A White Claw Hard Seltzer "Pure" (as in unflavored) handed down by my wife who bought...

    Short Churchwardens

I'd say you can't go wrong with the Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit line. I clench 'em (they're very light as they are cobs) , and you don't even need the special long churchwarden pipe cleaners for them, provided you remove the stem first.

    Filter

For me, filters always changed the tobacco drastically and I never use 'em. I have a Savinelli, and used the insert they provide if you want to forgo the filter. Works, but another thing to clean. For the MM cobs, I don't like the excessive (to me) airflow if you don't use a filter, and I...

Looking for Burley-Forward Blends with Very Little Latakia.

I'm definitely a burley devotee, and without intending to, my primary rotation consists of all C&D Burleys: Pegasus, Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, Redburn, and Night Train. I have a couple non-C&D, non-burleys going at any given time (flakes and plugs), but I love the common denominator of...

Looking for Burley-Forward Blends with Very Little Latakia.

I had Revelation some years back (before my hiatus from pipe smoking). I remember enjoying it, so Epiphany makes sense to try.
