    Pipe Tobacco While Working?

I keep several easy to pack, easy to keep lit blends for that very purpose, and prefer them to be pretty straightforward, no attention required (as in simple blends). My goto blends for that are Briar Fox (though it's a crumble cake, so it takes a few secs), Cockstrong, Haunted Bookshop or Old...

    Impressions on Kelly's Coin?

It's generally considered to be pretty strong, but I think the nic hit is lower just because it's pretty much gone a few minutes after you light it up (being a dry shag).

    Impressions on Kelly's Coin?

It seems a bit stronger than OJK to me. It's like a stronger OJK without the perique/spiciness.

    Impressions on Kelly's Coin?

Having received it, I agree wholeheartedly. Strengthwise, it's up there with Picayne and Five Brothers, but much more enjoyable,

    Impressions on Kelly's Coin?

I just placed an order for several tins of Kelly's Coin. It seemed to fit my primary rotation bill, namely a simple, strong burley. While I wait, I welcome anyone's impressions on it, positive or negative. Happy smokes all!

***What Are You Smoking, August 2020?***

Condor plug in a Chacom Army -- thanks BROBS for the link to get it from Ireland. I know it aint the original, but it's great for that Lakeland itch.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

Briar Fox in a chacom army -- finally getting to appreciate Briar Fox. It was one of those that did nothing for me, but it grew on me over time.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

That stuff grew on me -- I've been waiting on an 8oz tin availability since.

    Favorite Tobacco?

Have you tried the Sutliff Match Prince Albert or the Hearth & Home Prince Andrew? I like PA, but I pick up on the PG taste once in a while. So far I'm liking the Sutliff match, and will probably try Prince Andrew as well.

Cornell & Diehl Standard Run Favorites

C&D Burley based blends are actually the core of my (kinda large) active rotation: Pegasus Haunted Bookshop Old Joe Krantz Redburn Night Train

    My Orient Express

D&R Cockstrong has orientals, but it's more burley than Va. No latakia though, so it fits that bill. Admittedly, it's not something that comes to mind when discussing orientals.

Condor, Hate It or Love It (?)

How are the plugs in a small mason jar?

Condor, Hate It or Love It (?)

Thank you! I thought all those EU sites didn't deliver here. Six plugs on the way :) As I understand it, they are quite small, so I figured go big.

Condor, Hate It or Love It (?)

My only problem with Condor is I can't get it to try it here in the states. Would love to get my hands on a plug.

    Filters....

I don't use filters, and so avoid pipes that do, because the draw on them tends to rely on there being a filter present. For example, the MM Country Gentleman is a cob that takes a filter. If I smoke a Country Gentleman without a filter, I find the draw way too "loose". It comes down to...

    Prince Albert

I just got a sample of Sutliff Match Prince Albert. Good quality, has that slight cocoa taste at first, smokes easily, and has pretty much the same cut. It's a great match, and doesn't have that chemical taste some people (like myself) pick up from the original OTC blend. Even the strength...
