Have Difficulties Finding Group 2 Sized , Straight Billiard Pipes

Thank you. But there are no much pipes to choose from in that size therethe classic billiard style. The closest that it gets is a Butz Choquin. Now compare it to the options for bigger bowls.

Have Difficulties Finding Group 2 Sized , Straight Billiard Pipes

Its not very common nowadays. Most pipes are midium to large (Group size 4) But I would be happy if you can refer me to examples of well proportioned modern small pipes. That's basically the original reason for the tread

Have Difficulties Finding Group 2 Sized , Straight Billiard Pipes

If you compare various Dunhill group size 2 pipes, you will see that the measurments are mor or less the same. Now obviously you wont find exact same pipe length and bowl height for pipes of other makers, but again, it will have more or less simillar proportions. So if somebody speaks about a...

Is it a pre Cadogan one? If yes I might be interested.

Have Difficulties Finding Group 2 Sized , Straight Billiard Pipes

Group Size is very often used as reference point for size of the pipe. Nobody expecting it to be exact. Its more or less to get an understanding. You could also be more fruendly/civilised in your replies.

Alternatives to Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Tobacco in Europe?

I would like to taste Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Tobacco , but it seems it is not sold in Europe, but only in US. Is there some sort of equivalent that can be bought in the EU? Ordering from US is not an option, because of all the customs trouble.

Have Difficulties Finding Group 2 Sized , Straight Billiard Pipes

I would like to get a new (not estate) straight smooth billiard in group size 2. Preferably French or English and with a metal/silver band, Even thought thats not mandatory. So far I only found only Dunhill pipes of this size. Any leads or advise?

Pre Cadogan Comoy Pipes Without the "C" on the Stem?

I see. That makes Dunhill even worse in my eyes.

Pre Cadogan Comoy Pipes Without the "C" on the Stem?

But if they came to an agreement with Vauen in court, that Dunhill can use the white spot in all countries, but Vauen only in Germany, how did they manage to persuade the court, if they werent the first?

Pre Cadogan Comoy Pipes Without the "C" on the Stem?

Isn't that debatable? In the end Dunhill won in the court. Thats pretty nasty, if they not only stole the white spot, but also patented it afterwards.

Pre Cadogan Comoy Pipes Without the "C" on the Stem?

Yes, without the stwm logo. I am currious though, when did Comoy started to put a logo on the Stem? This must have been earliest the 1920s? If am not mistaken, Dunhill were the firdt ones to do it?

Pre Cadogan Comoy Pipes Without the "C" on the Stem?

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) - Bob I encountered a few of such pipes on Ebay. Does this mean, the stem was replaced? And by Comoy I dont meet Guildhall or other Comoy seconds. But Tradition, Deluxe etc.

Purchase of New Dunhill (Whitespot) Concerns and Questions

I have mixed feelling about the brand and its history, but I must say, that from the current pipe makers, nobody is making such classical aesthetically pleasing shapes, like Dunhill. Dunhill is also in my oppinion the only current pipe maker who makes well proportioned small size pipes (group...

    Any Opinions on Vauen

Too big for my taste. Also every series gets discontinued and new one is introduced. I prefer it the way Dunhill does it, by having specific shapes and finishes.
