Ever Take A 25 Tin Flyer On Something You Have Never Smoked?
I never buy more than an 8 oz tin of anything, and then, they are in my primary rotation to begin with. I'm not a big fan of aging too much (not for years), at least not the blends I like. That said I did take a one pound flyer (never tried in advance) on Briar Fox and I'm damn happy I did...- --dante--

I don't RYO (cigarettes) but if I did, it'd be Picayune and Five Brothers. My brother in law hand rolls his own, and primarily smokes Five Brothers. I smoke them both in pipes.- --dante--

Filter Pipes
To me they're a deal-breaker. Can't stand them. If I omit the filter, I dislike the greater airflow, if I use it, I dislike the effect on the taste and strength of the blend. To each his own.- --dante--

Chacom Pipes
I have two Chacom Army bit and one Chacom spigot, and they are my top of the line of pipe rotation. I think they are great pipes and were pretty reasonably priced to boot. -
Pipe Cleaners
I use them every smoke. I like the bristled ones if the pipe is big enough to receive them. By the looks of them after I pass 'em through the stem and swirl 'em around the bowl a bit -- I definitely don't want that stuff soaking in, or building up.
