HU Tobacco Blend Recommendations?
Hoosier, there are few blends that I prefer over others but I tend to pick Balkans first. I like a lighter hand in the Latakia jar and have yet to decide if I like Cavendish heavy blends. I like Navy flakes and good crossover blends. English aromatics, so to speak. Still looking for a sweeter...- aquadoc

Big Ben (Gubbels) pipes bankrupt
There are a number of curvy's still available on the Al Pascia website. For some reason, I thought that Gubbels was working with Al Pascia but that the shaping/carving was done in Italy. Surely, the Italian artisans can also finish the pipes too. -

Bowl coating is my first guess. I bought 2 unsmoked Big Ben's and the smoke tasted horrible. Sanded out the coating and voila, tasty smoke after a but of seasoning.- aquadoc

Do not store your valuables or anything you would like to have intact in a dishwasher thinking that dishwashers are watertight. I have lived in a coastal community most of my life.
