    Multi-colored Acrylic Stems - Why?

Cosmic, true. I guess it is the times. I cannot imagine how my dad would react if I pulled out pipe with a brightly acrylic stem while we sat around waiting for the ducks to come in. He might have revoked my invites to hunt with him. :)

    First Ultimate Bowl

Originally, it was a blend of my father's in a 61 Dunhill bent , blast he was given when I was born. He smoked Blue Boar, SWR (maybe aromatic), and some English that came in a cellophane wrapping in a drawstring pouch. It was not about the tobacco as much as the experience. My ex destroyed that...

    Multi-colored Acrylic Stems - Why?

I do not understand the aesthetic value of pairing a bright swirly dayglo purple acrylic stem with a beautifully carved briar bowl. It is similar to putting lipstick on a warthog. Someone change my mind since so many pipe are now sporting acrylic stems in every shade of nail polish.

    Pipe Covers/Lids

What Is Your Favorite "Manly" Poem?

Grab any volume of poetry written by Bukowski and you will know manly poems. "That's the problem with drinking, I thought, as I poured myself a drink. If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens...

First Impressions of Samuel Gawith Grousemoor

Grousemoor is a favorite of mine. I like it as a singular smoke and also combined with Rattray's Exotic Orange (eh, Passion). The 2 together make for a sublime smoke.
