Are those MM Freehands as deep as they look?

Waking up with some Kendal Dark and black coffee.

    4Noggins.com

I honestly believe that more recently they have been selling stock in anticipation of actually receiving it. That's the only thing I can think of that changed delivery of the same stuff from 4 or 5 days to 2 or 3 weeks, given the same shipping method and stating the product is currently...

    What's Your Favorite Codger Blend?

That was good stuff. The teaberry gum was good too.

    Lane Ready Rubbed Discontinued?

I think Granger is a tad less sweet. It's sweet as in raisins or figs, whereas RR is sweet as in molasses. Both are quite good.

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I was kidding about the last one (Audacious Varmint) -- it doesn't exist, but if it did, it'd be a C&D blend ;)

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I get what you mean by that -- it sets a certain tone, as opposed to "Elegant Emu, Purple Cow, Audacious Varmint", etc. Even given the latter are good blends. Note: Admittedly I haven't had AV.

Cornell & Diehl Purple Cow Review

I got my Purple Cow in, and I too smoke Billy Budd. I'm not good at reviewing things, but here's my two cents: Purple Cow is to Billy Bud as Haunted Bookshop is to Old Joe Krantz. In other words, pretty much the same thing, with the latter being the fuller, stronger one.

Thanks for posting this! I love it!

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I can appreciate that -- I just don't think the blends we're talking about slap anyone in the face. If they do, it's to say "wake up and stop looking for flavors!"

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

Honestly, old cheese and dirty socks are to me an indication I'm onto something :)

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

Give OJK Red Label a try if you would still like something like OJK but with a touch of Latakia. It will be in line with your current tastes, I think.

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I can't say he was making a stronger clone of HB, but I've smoked 'em both for years, and they really are the same excepting strength and spiciness. They are both his style, for sure. The ingredients are the same, just a matter of degrees.

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I have tried Morley's and Crowley's -- both are good blends. I haven't tried Adagio thanks for the tip.

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

Big thumbs up for OJK Red and Pegasus. OJK Red got me back into enjoying the combo of burley and latakia.

Mine's more brown, but don't worry I'll bring up the back :)
