    What's Your Favorite Codger Blend?

They are that -- I chop mine up kinda fine and let it dry a short while. The only one I have left is Brown #4

Thanks! I forgot I have that in a jar in my basement :)

    Strong Tobaccos

We have very similar tastes I think

Prince Albert in a MM Country Gent with custom Boswell stem. Cheap bourbon on the side.

    Strong Tobaccos

My bad, yes I meant Bayou Night. I still have a good bit of Picayune but now find myself preferring Bayou Night as a strong, spicy blend (just my tastes). You seemed to already know all the strongest tobaccos so I was suggesting something that you may like if you like Picayune.

    Strong Tobaccos

If you want the taste of Picayune in a reasonably strong tobacco, I suggest Bayou Evening (it really strikes me as very similar). To me I find the strength comparable -- Picayune, despite it's rep, never struck me as all _that_ strong (but then again neither does any other blend). For just...

***What Are You Smoking, June 2021?***

Before preparing dinner, having some Montford Point Marine in Country Gent with a bottle of Red Stripe. Really wish this stuff came in bulk or at least 8 oz tins.

The "New" Carter Hall and Prince Albert

I would say it's more cocoa puffs dust than it is cough syrup (but then again I've only ever had cherry cough syrup) :)

The "New" Carter Hall and Prince Albert

I've only recently been smoking PA (from I tub I ordered a few weeks back) and have been enjoying it very much. In the past, I'd only occasionally had a pouch of it. Seeing this thread, I checked my tub. It is indeed from Dominican Republic. I don't have enough experience with PA in the...

    Haunted Bookshop Convert

Lol, I thought it was some slang term for Haunted Bookshop and I was the only one that didn't know that :p

    Haunted Bookshop Convert

Well I'm obviously doing it wrong! haha. -- I'll try the bulks next order. Neither are blends I'm trying to age, so no need for the tins, even 8 oz.

    Haunted Bookshop Convert

Yes! OJK is a "sipper". That's important I think.

    Haunted Bookshop Convert

I've never bought HB or Old Joe Krantz bulk. I wonder if it's different. Either way, I can see it being a go to blend.

I keep OJK and HB around, and smoke them both roughly equally. Too much HB, I like to add the kick/spice of OJK, too much OJK, I like the slightly milder HB. I consider them nearly the same. Sometime I should try mixing them and see what the 'medium' blend is like.
