Richards Sheffield Pipe Knife Find
I just got a Richard’s pipe knife. Pretty cool. One side says, “Erinmore Tobacco” and the logo. The other side says, “Such Good Rich Flavour”. Blade does wobble a bit. Has anyone found a way to tighten it? Put a little oil on the hinge, but it didn’t fix it.- Bassman65

Peterson lighter is pretty darn good!
I sent a message to Peterson. They recommended using Kiribi flints. Unfortunately, you can’t seem to get these in Canada. I wonder if Xikar flints would be similar?- Bassman65

Unsmoked Pipes in your Collection?
I’m smoking outside in the snow and wet, so cobs are what’s on rotation. Haven’t smoked my 2 Christmas and birthday pipes yet. A Savinelli Bing and Clark’s favourites. -
Peterson lighter is pretty darn good!
Wonder if I used a more premium name brand flint from the get go if it would help the issue? I thought all flints were equal. Are some flints better than others?- Bassman65

Zippo Pipe Inserts
So far so good with the z-pipe lighter insert in the zippo. Takes a few clicks in the cold, but way more reliable than the more expensive lighter I had with the built in tool.- Bassman65
