    Displaying Your Tins

Those displays look great. Too bad up North we get no tin art whatsoever. Yet, I hear the corner store has vape containers decorated. Crazy.

I use the Kiribi flints. They are softer than the zippos. I also use them in my Peterson. 😊

    Missouri Meerschaum Shank Crack

I’m the same. For the price in U.S. dollars plus shipping they get pricey!

I’ve heard that the ones with the 5 stars down the spine are Chinese copies. They usually say ‘Come Of Austria’ on the bottom. The 6800 is the Streamline version you bought. 6600- Junior 6700 - Triplex 6800 - Streamline.

If You Could Have Only One...

Either my Savinelli Clark’s Favourite or my Missouri Meerschaum Bent Apple Diplomat. Partner these with some OGS or CBRM and I’m happy.

How Long Should a Bowl Last?

Unfortunately my pipes tend to last longer than I have time to smoke them. I just put a wind cap on top, sit it on my shelf, and come back to smoke it tomorrow. Sometimes one bowl can last me three days/outings if my wife and kids are relentless. Lol.

New Zippo Pipe Insert - Butane!

No, I haven’t tried the thunderbird. The ZPipe was the only one I could find up here until the Zippo. I’ll keep you updated as I use the Zippo insert more.

Pipe Smoking: Should I be Concerned in Public ?

If it’s your own property I wouldn’t. I can only smoke outside. Asking would just open the door to an answer I wouldn’t want to hear. They’ve taken away every other place I can smoke.

    IMCO Help please

You can also store a spare flint in the little compartment that appears when the spring is pulled back. Right above the Imco Pat. Stamp.

    IMCO Help please

Yes. The flint goes in there. Pull the spring back, put in the flint and push the spring back up.

    Bleeding A Peterson Lighter

Hey all, was wondering what tool you guys use to bleed your butane lighters. Sounds like a silly question, but with the price of these babies, I was wondering if some tools are better than others. I saw in a forum search that someone recommended the Xikar Tune Up Tool. Can’t seem to find them...

I read that zippo flints are too hard for the Peterson and Kiribis. I figure that flints are cheaper than having to repair the strike wheel on the Peterson. Although getting Kiribi flints is a pain in the butt in Canada. That’s why I’m using softer flints in the IMCOs as well. Since they don’t...
