    Dishonorable Mentions

As a Canadian who loves his maple syrup and pancakes, I’m surprised I didn’t like Autumn Evening more than I did.

    Zippo Butane Pipe Lighter Insert

I like the zippo version a lot more than the ZPipe. I like the flame control on the ZPipe, but it doesn’t start reliably. Gotta keep clicking.

    Corona Old Boy? Worth it?

I’ve been having pretty good luck with that combo as well.

    Savinelli, Bings Favorite, ebay purchase

I have the smooth version that comes with the vulcanite stem. In retrospect, I with I would have gotten the rustic with the acrylic stem. Less fiddling. I reached out to Savinelli to see if I could buy a replacement acrylic stem, but they said no.

    Premium: A Quality to Ponder

Even beer seems headed in the same direction. When you go to the pub, 3 quarters of the beer offered taste like drinking pine trees with all the hopping. Almost like drinking perfume.

    Jean Claude 9mm Filters

I bought the new MM European Cob No. 1. The Vauen filters are a little small in diameter for the shank. The Jean Claude filter it comes with fits perfectly.

    Corona Old Boy? Worth it?

Try the Kiribi flints. They are softer. Since the Petersons are made in Japan like the Kiribis, it may help prolong the wheel life.

    Corona Old Boy? Worth it?

I have a Peterson I love. No complaints. Huge fuel tank. Fellow Canadian with 3 kids in hockey and one is a goalie. One is just aging out of Rep. hockey. Good luck!

    Jean Claude 9mm Filters

Has anyone tried the Jean Claude 9mm active charcoal filters? Any thoughts?

    That Old School Aroma

I’ve got like 30 metal Borkum Riff tins from my dad holding various nails and screws. All have the stamps etc.

    Falcon Negatives?

Has anyone tried the Falcon International Stem that accommodates a filter?

    Subway - Sandwich Chain

I don’t play, but all three kiddos do. Exercise by association. Lol.

Metallic, Sour Taste with Both of my Cobs

Yup. CAN. Dollars. They are pricey! More than half way to a Savanelli. You can buy an entry - mid level Brigham or a Lorenzetti for a similar price.

Metallic, Sour Taste with Both of my Cobs

To get a Dr. Grabow up here on Amazon, you’re looking at $70-80!

    Subway - Sandwich Chain

Yup. For subs, these are by far superior! Easy and quick when away at hockey tourneys.

    Easy Clencher

I find the MM Bent Apple Diplomat works well for me. Also, with the cob, if It ever did fall it wouldn’t be the end of the world. When I’m moving around, I often just throw a wind cap on it. Nothing falls out 😊.
