    Pipe Pouch Claudio Albieri

Hello, I was looking and thinking of getting a pipe pouch. One that keeps standing out to me is the single pipe Claudio Albieri pouch (the one that rolls up) Is that one that anyone here has any experience with or has heard about? Since I can't go to the store to try it out myself, I am...

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

I mean in terms of quality of briar and grain, etc. Is there anything really that special about it or is it just marketing.

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

I think that might be a better option to be honest. I mainly like the amber stem aspect of the pipe and it seems the maker's series doesn't afford much beyond that, at least for my purposes

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

that's a really nice pipe, i was going to get a similar one on smoking pipes but it sold out unfortunately. nice find!

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

How about the maker's series? Are they really worth the extra price point? I'm not as crazy about the handcrafted leather case, but the pipe itself looks good. I am wondering if I am paying mostly for the leather or if I am really getting a superior pipe or not.

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

I see! Thanks for the feedback! The stems are smaller than I would have thought. It seems to be most pronounced in the dark sandblasted ones so I may keep that in mind

Peterson Amber Stem / Maker's Series worth it? Or Alternatives?

Hello! I am considering getting a Peterson Amber stem, possibly one of the limited edition maker's series pipes. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with either. Is it worth the price point? Would I be better off getting a Castello or some other type of pipe like this that is renowned...

    Calabash Gourd Where to Buy

Ah yes, I saw that they had Mahogany. I am not against it per se but I am looking for the authentic look and feel so I would want to go with the gourd. I remember my father's giant gourd calabash. It was quite nice! He smoked it a few times but mostly it was for show. It's the kind of pipe you...

yikes! I may have to rethink the vintage than lol. I see nice! How do you find the quality? Are they imported from Turkey and real gourds (as far as you can tell, to be honest I wouldn't be able to tell lol)

    Mold?

Thank you very much! It's nice to come here and chat. I'm enjoying it here where I am but it's nice to feel connected to other pipe hobbyists online! I have no idea how long that tin I purchased has been sitting in the shop lol which is why I was concerned about the mold. It's a super tasty...

    Calabash Gourd Where to Buy

I was wondering if I could get some help on this one. I have seen some of the larger sites, and they do have some nice pieces, but I am looking more for a vintage pipe. I have noticed that these sites tend to be a litter harder to find as they are buried deeper in the search results or don't...
