PIpe friendly in Atlanta?

Status FDA and Tobacco, 09/26/2013
In late August, the FDA said they would issue their initial intentions for regulating pipe tobacco and cigars in October. We'll see. They have pushed back this deadline in the past. Once the FDA issues its proposed regulations, there will be a 90 comment period for the public/trade. 90 days...- leonardw

Tobacco Casings & Toppings...?
Typically the cured leaf is exposed to steam to moisten the leaves prior to the casing process. American Spirit cigarette tobacco claims to process their tobacco using only water. I'm not a cigarette smoker, but I do a good bit of sampling (I manage the Bugler RYO brand here at Lane as well)...- leonardw

Going Through Airport Security
I go through security about 40 times per year. Typically I have at least a half pound of tobacco in various bags/tins/pouches, two or three Bic lighters, and a dull blade pipe tool. Been stopped once because the shape of the tins threw a newbie TSA guy off, but once they looked at it I was fine...- leonardw
