Pipe ID - Something or Nothing?

I picked this lovely pipe up on eBay (paired with a nice Butz Choquin), but I've no idea what it is - anyone have any ideas? There seems to be a faint logo to the left of 'London made', the number stamped is 7469 and the white dot on the stem is an insert, not paint. Any help appreciated!

    Anyone Play Video Games?

Late to the thread but yeah, in for the long haul. Started with the Atari 2600, through pretty much every console going (not a PC gamer at all) to the PS4 Pro I spend most time on now. One of my early jobs out of school was a QA tester for US Gold, my dream job, but it didn't last as they moved...

    MM Cob ID and Date

Thanks BROBS - I Googled Wally Frank and there were a few pictures cropping up of identical looking pipes so I think you're right. I nearly binned it, glad I didn't now! Think I'll clean it up and maybe smoke it.

    MM Cob ID and Date

Hi, I got this cob in a small lot of estates, can't seem to find much about it - diamond shape bulldog-esque shank, no stamp or sticker underneath. Any idea of the age at least? Other pipes in the lot date to 1970 - 1980 or so.

    Life and Pipes in 1902

This is me with one of the smaller engines I operate and outside the boiler room of the big single cylinder winding engine, with one of the old boys who taught me the ropes.

    Life and Pipes in 1902

I volunteer at a living museum set in the year 1900 so quite often dig out old film on YouTube as it's both fascinating and useful. Here is a good example and there are plenty of pipe smokers to spot, far more common in those days. Eerie to think though that every living soul in that film is...

    New from Telford, England

Hi all, new to the site and relatively new to pipes. Jacked in cigarettes 20 years ago but always wanted to take up the pipe - time was right I guess! Have a couple of new pipes, and picked up a few estates as part of the appeal was cleaning up / restoring a previously loved pipe and putting it...

How Do You Reconcile With Pipe Smoking's Health Risks?

I've just taken up the pipe after 20 of not smoking (cigarettes). At 48 I don't consider myself old and therefore don't think "what's there to lose", but having grown up in a city in the 70's, with it's unregulated industry and pollution, plus now volunteering at a local museum as a steam engine...
