I'm not an expert sharpener. I have a coarse stone, I think it is 240/360 grit, for the most worn blades, and then I move up to 1000/5000 grit, then on to a slate grindstone and end with a leather wheel with some kind of paste to remove the burr. My knives get sharp, but I'm no way near...- workman

Accidentally Bought the Wrong Blend

Any Suggestions on a Straight Virginia?
If you're into the citrus notes, Orlik Golden Sliced is a must try. Capstan Blue isn't very citrusy, but it is by far my favorite virginia blend. I have no idea why everyone says Macbaren no 1 burns hot. I find it extremely well behaved, only not very flavorful and a bit bland.- workman
