    Home run Blends

    The most recent home run for me is McCranie's Somerled. I've only had a few bowls but each time it gets better. Cool smoke with a nice lightly sweet taste.

    McCranie’s Pipe and Tobacco Shop, Charlotte NC

    I just read the McCranie's article. It's great to have faces to put with the names. I've been buying from them off and on for a few years. My favorite is their Somerled blend. I just bought a tin and I'm really enjoying it. Wish I lived close enough to be a "regular" there. :D

    My New Zippo for Pipes...luv it...

    I use a Thunderbird Pipe Lighter Insert by Vector in my Zippo shell. It uses butane so I don't have to use a different fuel for my pipe lighter and my cigar torch lighter. I really like it. Best of both worlds type of deal.
