Is this a patent era Petersons?
Thanks ssjones. The reason I wondered if it was patent era is because of no COM - I thought all republic stummels had a COM (but I know next to nothing of the older peterson's). Many thanks all. And thanks to Sablebrush for extracting the images. The stem and mortise are not right, but I'm not going to fix it. It does sit flush against the shank if the bit is lined up one way, but if turned 'upside' down, so to speak, it's out of whack. Think I'll just restain it and... -
