Jim's C&D The Beast 2023 Review.
I was going to snag a tin or two to try but I have yet to smoke a C&D blend that is worthy of a $17 price tag. I'm all about capitalism but I also believe in "you get what you pay for" and there's much better blending houses that charge a good bit less.- Piping Rooster

Samuel Gawith Flakes are Hard to Smoke
Im going to disagree, I find SG/GH flakes rather easy smokes. They now make up the majority of my stash. Even the thick wet beef jerky like slices of 1792 burn well for me. Drilling In Peterson Pipes.
The reason they are drilled high is the angle of the mortise in relation to the bottom if the chamber. It has to be that way to line up with the bottom of the chamber. Any lower angle and you drill the outer edge of the mortise top.- Piping Rooster
