Frog Morton's Cellar and C&D Star of the East Flake

I'd definitely open and smoke them. Those are two of my go to blends; however, I only have one tin of FMC left. Unfortunately. Open and smoke and if not your preference then definitely share with friends. They'll appreciate it.

    Bowl Shape for Aromatics?

What ever pipe shape you have will be just fine. I've never noticed the bowl shape to affect the way my aromatics smoke.

What day is the test? I think I'm going to be sick that day.

    Shipping to Washington State

I live in Washington, and I order my stuff through 4Noggins. My friend has tried to order from them, but it won't let him. I'm guessing they made a change in their system; however, as I was an established customer, I think they continue to ship to me. When I was in Chicago and visiting Iwan...

    Info about Estate find.

I have no knowledge on the name Thompson when it comes to pipes, but I think snagstangl is correct. I have a Thompson African meerschaum pipe. I was never able to find out any information on it, but I'm guessing it was sold through Thompson Cigar and it was stamped with their name on it.

    Fritz Becker For Carmignani Roma

That's a nice looking pipe. I hope it brings you many happy smokes.

Finally Got a Claw...Yanik of Course

Dang, that's a bummer. I know I was worried when I ordered it as it was coming from Turkey, and that's a long way for a meerschaum to travel, but thankfully it was all good. I was glad to see it was well packaged. I unfortunately broke it myself later on, but I was able to save it and I still...

Finally Got a Claw...Yanik of Course

That's a great looking claw. I hope it smokes well for you, and provide you many great smokes!

Finally Got a Claw...Yanik of Course

I ordered a pipe from Yanik, and it came extremely well packed, so unless USPS throws it off the truck and stomps on it, it should be ok. Of course I know that's asking a lot. LOL

    Red Virginia Aha

I love a good red Virginia with McClelland 5100 Red Cake being my favorite. The closest I've found to match it is Sutliff 515RC-1. Clearly not the same, but nothing will match 5100 Red Cake.

Oldest Tobacco blend In Continuous Production?

I have no clue what the oldest tobacco would be, but I do agree that what we're smoking today is not the same as what was being produced from long ago. Like Sablebrush said, it's clones of clones and the long standing tobacco's are in name only.

***What Are You Smoking, October 2024?***

Dang!!! If I was smoking that blend I'd definitely be off the rails. LOL

    Pete Rose Dead at 83

I would agree that he took the wrong approach to the situation, and yes, he should have owned up to it immediately. Unfortunately, he didn't which caused Giamatti to ban him. I would disagree that he didn't respect the game, as he loved the game, the game was his life, but he clearly made some...

American Picker Star Frank Fritz has Died

As a history buff, and someone that enjoys antiques, and the old things from my past; I really enjoyed this show. I always liked Frank as he was into things that I was interested in as well. He gave the show some personality and comedy. May he rest in peace.

    Pete Rose Dead at 83

Pete was one hell of a player that gave his all on the field, and was a great baseball mind. His conversations about hitting were great to listen to. He had some great ball stories as well. It's unfortunate that he's not in the HOF. Even though the HOF could put him in if they chose to do...
