I've gotten away from commissions almost 100% because of these dilemmas. At most, going forward, I'd say to tell carver X when he has another one (whatever shape/whatever carver), if they will keep you in mind and let you know. You now have avoided committing to it. The Obligatory Newbie Thread: Dunhill
I do like the history of the brand, but also IMO they hit the "proper" proportions of classic shapes perfectly and every time. Others may as well, but none better. Lovats, billiards, various bulldog renditions, the Oom Paul (Hungarian), etc. Prove me wrong ;-)- ron123

Storage of Bouchons de Semois
Mine came dry and brittle. It smoked fine, but I put the rest of the box in a humidor - mine's set at 64%. I just don't want the wrappers crumbling off when preparing them to smoke.- ron123

***What Are You Smoking, August 2022?***
I’ve got limited experience with Semois, so not an expert here, but I thought this was an enjoyable smoke. Kinda mimics a calabash and wouldn’t smoke hot. When I ordered it, they had a 1 pack limit - 10 bouchons/pack. Not sure if it’s still in stock, but it wasn’t a limited release afaik.- ron123

Has anyone tried these Semois buchons yet? Saw them new at smokingpipes and decided to give ‘em a go. Firing this one up in an Ashton in a few and putting the rest of the buchons in the cigar humidor as they seem a bit dry.- ron123
