    New pipe

It was worth the wait! Nice nosewarmer, almost a bulldog.

    New pipe

She looks like a sweet thing! Just got her Friday, eh? I like the color.

Found In My "Old Pipes" Pipe Rack

That is a beauty. I especially like that rim.

    My Updated Bucket List

    New Pipe Zippo.

Haven't seen Grizz much since he got his new job. Here's hoping he is well. I have a Nimrod on order, but those grenades are nice looking.

    My Review of Molto Dolce

Be sure to dry it. I finished off my free tin long ago, and have laid back two more against 'hard times'. I haven't been able to find MD in bulk, but there are so many other great tobaccos out there. Luckily, I have permission from The Wife to maintain a small cellar, so I hope to do more...

    Colons:

You can talk about anal cavities, just don't be one!

Strange Looking pipe on eBay, Never Seen one before??

Whew! That is one ugly old cuss! I'm glad you aren't bidding, that pipe needs Al. But somebody loved it do death; there has to be some kind of mechanics inside to give it a good smoke. Mysterious.

    PFC Dad

Thanks to all - that's a picture I am very proud of! We lost Dad in 1980, and as of this week I have surpassed him in years. I posted the picture in celebration of his life well-lived.

    PFC Dad

@Steve - A one-striper made less than $100 a month then. Granted, that c-note would have eight times the buying power it does now, thanks to our old friend inflation. Still and all, those wee simpler times. I work in a 500-man agency, and I am the only pipe smoker. @six - the very best tales...

    Your Thoughts on Brigham Pipes

Schmitz, what does the dot system mean? Quality grade? Google doesn't know. Wait, they do! The dot system originally consisted of 8 separate grades as follows (from lowest to highest grade): 1 DOT - "Brigham Standard" 2 DOT - "Brigham Select" 3 DOT (star pattern) - "Brigham Exclusive" 3 DOT...

    PFC Dad

This is my Dad, hard at work at Fort Jackson, 1954: Which is a detail of this picture: I don't know who the other pipe-smoking Joe is, can't tell if he is an officer or a buck private. It may be Major Huskey, who was Dad's CO at the time, and gave him a couple of pipes.

    Your Thoughts on Brigham Pipes

I don't have one, but I am intrigued with the 'Rock Maple Filter'. There are a-plenty of your compatriots* here who probably grew up with them. *(Except for nsfisher, who is a Brog afic... Brog affish... he likes Brogs.)

    Help me Choose

I've been eyeballing those Tsuges, and they are beautiful. But if I had a choice, I'd go for the 80S. But that's just me - I haven't seen a review of the Tsuge, and Pete's have a good rep for quality. You could always get both!

    GBD and a Meer

Beautiful, the both of 'em. I'm a huge fan of the bulldog shape.

    3 Edward's

    Classy!

    The Hucksters

Gable was a Briar Man. That may have even been a throwaway line or ad-lib - but very cool.

    The After Midnight Club

Oh, gosh, Lawrence, I was just going to bed. Sorry!
