    I do a char light to let the tobacco "puff up," followed by a light tamp and then re-light. I find that once I do that, it's good to go!

    What’s a Good 9mm Pipe- Vauen, Barling or Rattray?

    I'm partial to Vauens. They are great smokers and very cheap considering how good they are. Plus Vauen makes their own proprietary 9 mm filters that work great!

    Filters, Pros and Cons

    I use Vauen 9 mm in my Vauen pipes and Savinelli 6 mm balsa filters in my Savinelli pipes. Both work great in my opinion and do not influence draw or flavour. Just my two cents.
