Anyone Use Their Savinelli Without The Adapter?

I have two Savinellis and a Rossi. I don’t like using filters but I’m tired of the adapter getting in the way of my pipe cleaners. Anyone use their Savinelli without the adapter (and without balsa filters)?

    Cabbie’s Mixture Packed March 2019

As some of you know I’ve got some Cabbie’s Mixture from 2019 (tin code 01-280). It’s excellent. Given how hard it is to find on a regular basis as well as the age (with some very nice plume) how much do you think my unopened tins would be valued at right now? I’m very new to pipe tobacco (used...

Staying Hydrated! What is Your Ideal RH for Non—Aromatics?

Thanks you. I figure with a Boveda pack in my tobacco I can keep it exactly the right humidity all the time! I’ve been experimenting with 62 and 65. I like the 65 a bit better, actually.

Staying Hydrated! What is Your Ideal RH for Non—Aromatics?

Haha okay then. Ive tried the %62 in jars that were too wet and they’re dryer now but it seemed As though they lost some of their aroma (which would make sense). I was hoping maybe one of y’all had found a sweet spot.

    Latakia and Metallic Taste

Thank you for this. At first I didn’t really pay much attention but now that I’ve thought about it, I think I have a loose filling. Scheduled an appointment. Thanks again

    Latakia and Metallic Taste

I’ve recently started exploring Latakia blends. Starting with Lancer Slices and PS EnglishLuxury. I instantly fell in love with the pine tar aroma and flavor. My oh my what a pleasure. unfortunately, there’s an annoying side affect. Every time I smoke it I get a metallic taste that sit on my...

So Plume is Real… and Dating Gawith

Okay. That makes sense… kind of haha. I don’t know why they would do it this way but it reminds me of how they date egg cartons —by the day of the year it was packaged (today is 206). thanks!

So Plume is Real… and Dating Gawith

As a cigar smoker I never saw “plume” that didn’t look like mold to me. I’ve passed it off as a myth all this time. Yesterday I bought some cabbie’s mixture from my B&M. Cracked it open and was severely disappointed: MOLD! I closed it and went about my day. I suddenly thought to myself “the...

Two Pipes: How Should I Divide Tobacco Between Them?

I’m very much a collector. I’m sure I’ll have plenty more pipes in my future (actually just bought a Peterson too). But In making myself a promise… when I started really getting into rare and aged Cigars I promised myself I’d smoke every one of them. None are meant to just sit. This, I think...

    Could this be Fixed?

Bought this Nording for cheap. He said the chip doesn’t affect the draw but I still think I’d like to get it fixed. What do you all think? Fixable?

Two Pipes: How Should I Divide Tobacco Between Them?

Thank you all. Now that some of you have mentioned it I don’t know if I’ve really minded the ghosting.

Two Pipes: How Should I Divide Tobacco Between Them?

Title: Capitalize important words. [Rule 9] I like aromatics and non aromatics. Picked up since escudo yesterday and the spice seems to ghost into other bowls. I’ve been smoking everything in one pipe for awhile now but I haven’t had ghost problems. i got a Nording Royal Flush on the way and I...
