    BCDF available at 4noggins. ..

Or Brown Flake, I'll wager. (edit) Just because those two haven't been released in ages.

I know what you mean. That was the story on Esoterica tobacco five years ago. Kingfisher.

No offense taken here, bulletsnbriars. To each, his own!

I Know We Talk About This a Lot...

I like it. It's an acquired taste, maybe. It reminds me of the other classic drugstore burley blends like Carter Hall, Prince Albert, and Half & Half, but with a flavoring of vanilla and anise. I also think the pouch note is oddly similar to the smell of a Peace cigarette which is delightful...

    Kiribi Lighter Review

Shane's lasted long enough for him to get good at doing that trick. So you should be down, Darwin. Ted

    Kiribi Lighter Review

Darwin, if used the right way that wing can make opening the Kiribi super fast. Check out this five second video. Shane's badass Kiribi skills.

Any ideas when P&C will have more Billy Budd?

And having a hand in the manufacturing piece out at C&D I can state unequivocally that there's no production or supply issue related to this blend.

Zulu vs Dublin / Lovat vs Canadian

Just like the Prince shape is a specific kind of bent Apple (quarter-bent profile with an Apple-shaped bowl that's of a proportional size relative to both the shank and mouthpiece) so is the Zulu. In fact, a "true" Zulu (IMHO) is a Prince with a Dublin bowl. Anything else is just a bent Dublin...

    Butera Kingfisher

We got Pelican in October, November, December, January, then in March last. So I think it's still being produced. And it's always come in from Arango, which I take to mean that it's still made by Germain. If it was made by Orlik (which at this point is synonymous with Peter Stokkebye) then we...

    Butera Kingfisher

Also, keep in mind, Germain is the same company that produces Penzance, Stonehaven, and (the current version of) Balkan Sobranie (among many other blends). So if they can't even produce enough of these blends to satisfy pipe smokers petitions and phone calls probably won't change much, sadly.

    Butera Kingfisher

On the notion that Kingfisher hasn't been produced since 2006: I think that's unlikely. Here at Smokingpipes.com we've seen it in small quantities since 2006 (and before). However, 2011 was the last time we saw any. Pelican we've seen a few times over the last couple of years. I don't think they...

Exclusive Breaking News: Cornell & Diehl to Merge with Laudisi

It's a merger and not an acquisition. I know the semantics can be dicey. See HERE. This best describes the situation at hand. Woodsroad, the idea that Laudisi would outsource production of C&D tins to another factory is interesting. Fortunately, that's simply not going to be the case. Laudisi...

    Price Difference in the Extreme

Hey folks, thanks for bringing this to our attention. When I first saw this thread I was pretty confused, so we did some digging, made some calls, looked over some invoices, and came to realize we'd listed these pipes incorrectly. When Sykes was in Ireland he had the chance to pick out a set of...

What's Your Favorite Frog Morton Blend?

I can't believe that Across the Pond is getting like no love here. The Syrian Latakia component in this one makes it the most balanced and interesting of the series, in my humble opinion.

Exclusive Breaking News: Cornell & Diehl to Merge with Laudisi

arno665, we do ship tobacco to Europe. Maybe not every single country in Europe, but that's only because some countries in Europe prohibit its citizens from receiving tobacco from out of the country.
