    Pipe Mud

The Pipe Mud Post I have experimented with pipe mud this week to build up the bottom of a couple of briars. My results were not stellar, and I need to think it out a little better.

Missouri Meerschaum Corn Cob Fans - Need Your Input

I always reach for my cobs first. I don't think I have smoked a briar pipe more than twice in the past month. I might admire something pretty I see in town, but I always go home to the one I love!

    Early Bird Club

Yeah, the pollen count is off the charts, and has even affected me. The Wife is flat on her back. I got a dandy Comoy's stubby yesterday, can't wait to fire it up!

Can Someone Please Explain Prince Albert?

Prince Albert was the first son of Queen Victoria, and was named for his father, Albert of Saxony. When her consort died, the Queen decreed that no future King of England could use the name Albert. So, when Prince Albert (for whom the tobacco is named) became King, he became King Edward VII...

If You Could Only Have One Pipe Shape For The Rest Of Your Life

Wow... and I was certain I would be the only one to go with a Bulldog. Sadly, that is NOT my Dunny.

    New Nimrod

Same thing happened on a Nimrod I purchased. I had some drills from model-building, but I worked on that thing for three days before it came loose. Wouldn't you know, it leaked like a sieve and made my tobacco taste foul. I hope your experience is much, much better than mine!

    Your LAST Smoke

If I were to face a firing squad TODAY, it would be Classic Burley Kake in a cob. Tomorrow might be something a little different.

Mine took three months from Altadis, and it seems like the STG took about nine weeks.

    Altadis

A third vote for Molto Dolce. It's kind of a 'dessert smoke" to my taste. I always have a tin on hand. I got the Charlemagne blend in the P&C goodie bag last month, and it has really turned me on to burleys. Which means more business for P&C... specially since I am hooked on Bull Run and...
