I've been away for a long time - to much work for months followed by a (well earned) three weeks vacation!
Now everything is back to normal - and I've found out, that I like normal 😁
Celebrating my "normal" life with Peterson Early Morning Pipe in my Altinay Rusticated Meer...
Just got this in the mail today - an Altinay Meerschaum Author. I've been looking for an author for a while and finally found the right size (for me) at Altinay.
Virgin smoke is Capstan Blue Flake.
I wish you all a good weekend!
Hello my good pipe-friends.
A lot of work the last weeks - but now a little time to relax 😉
Enjoying a good pipe and a cold beer!
One of my favourite pipes; an Altinay Meerschaum rusticated billard silver spigot.
I usually smoke VA and VApers, but I love the smell and taste of Burleys. I have...
I found this rare Stanwell Venturi billard no. 29 at The Danish Pipe Shop.
It's - off course - a Danish made estate, but unsmoked.
Does anyone know, when Stanwell made the Venturi series?
Hello to all pipe-friends.
A beautiful sunny summerday here in Denmark.
Found a real treasure yesterday at The Danish Pipe Shop: an estate unsmoked Stanwell Billard Venturi no. 29.
Breaking it in with one of my favorit tobaccos - Orlik Sliced (you may know it as Orlik Golden Sliced).
I hear you - and maybe you're right.
But: some will pay for a basket pipe - and be happy. Some will pay for a Dunhill pipe - and be happy.
Some will pay for a cob - and be happy. I will pay for a handmade Eltang - and I'm happy 😉
I really like this small pipes for walking, holidays and visits at restaurants/cafés. They are so easy to bring everywhere - and they are great smokers.
The meerschaum can get a little hot, but not more than the Eltangs.
