Jim's Low Country Atalaya Limited Edition 2023 Review.

Slightly off topic, but Wacamaw and Edisto are top notch too

Jim's Low Country Atalaya Limited Edition 2023 Review.

This is a phenomenal blend. It has become my go to special occasion smoke. The drop caught me by surprise, glad I saw it in time to snag a bunch.

    C&D Choices

C&D is my blending house of choice. Fantastic stuff They do have blends that are more mild iff that is your style. Billy Budd for example is supposed to be quite strong, but one of my faves is Billy Budd Blonde. It's flavorful but mild.

Bring Back Syrian Latakia - possible?

I believe it is this. Not just the strain, but it's the soil, as well as the method of curing and the materials used to cure that are unique to Syria. These factors, along with others make it virtually irreplaceable and now extinct.

What Pipes Were New For Savinelli in 2010?

Thanks! I saw that, but figured there had to be some others that were more everyday pipes. Not necessarily limited edition pipes. For example, this year they came out with the oliva and granola line. They are new to this year but still mass produced enough to be inexpensive. Those beautiful...

What Pipes Were New For Savinelli in 2010?

I came across an old advert for new Savinellis from 2016. The Spinosa really caught my eye and it happens to be the year my youngest was born. Now I'm in a quest for a "birth year" Spinosa 320 😄 It got me wondering what pipes were new or added to the line for Savinelli in 2010, the year my...

    New C&D Small Batch? Steamworks?

Had first bowl last night. I am surprised at how subtle and mellow the flavors are. There wasn't any one thing that really lept out and anounced itself over an other component. It is good, just different than expected. Any one else surprised by it?

    Smoke Air Purifiers

I use a Levoit air purifier in my garage/ home work room for the smoke. It has a two part filter, one of which is charcoal. It works well in my opinion. Helps clear out the smoke. However if I was going to smoke inside my house around daily living areas I would invest in a different one that...

    2 Daughters Rimboche A.B.

That is a phenomenal blend. Absolutely phenomenal. Thankfully I stocked up before they quit making it. As far as supplies being limited, it's more that supplies are non existent. If you want to keep it, I would jar it as is and rehidrate it in small batches for ready smoking
