    Savinelli Is Messing Up Badly

I've never tried any Savs but always felt it was weird how much people sometimes give them big ups. Like they seem like perfectly nice pipes at the price point to me, but I've had more then a few people act like how do you not have not only a Sav but ten of them? I have never been bothered by...

    Savinelli Is Messing Up Badly

yeah it is I know because I was such a freaking pyro as a child that I can legit consider every day a bonus.

    Captain Black Platinum

Either she forgot to tell you what the arraignment was or you got more wild one night then you remember and her doctor found you wallet and watch.

    Another Level Of Snobbery.

that doesn't sound like snobbery just standards. Though I can certainly point out some amazing coffee snobbery. And as far as your last comment that so true. The trail and the out of doors are one of the best seasonings in the world. One of the best things I've eaten ever was a plain can of Tuna...

    Cellaring Codgers

PG has this off taste to me. But it's funny if it's the middle range or low I don't see any difference otherwise then it takes longer to dry the tobacco. If it's Captain Black levels that ruins it for me. My impression of Prince Albert was not really good or bad and not really all that...

Knowing When to Quit a Bowl

thought that was the most likely thing. And while I agree 101% benign if you regularly burn your mouth like that it can lead to bad things after many many years. But more then that it just sucks.

    Coins

I find for me the best way to smoke them is fold it in half so it breaks up a little bit and just stuff one or two in at a time. I try to leave an air pocket at the bottom of the pipe, but not a big deal if that doesn't happen.

    Edward G Robinson

it does and while it's supposedly red wine. To me it has a distinct plum brandy flavor. It more then a hint but it doesn't cover up the tobacco. It is like just enough to call it an aromatic in my opinion. It is constantly there. Hints come and go. I'd say it's a very tobacco forward aromatic...

    First Smoke Post-Pneumonia

I think it's both. It shocked me how much better dry tobacco smokes for me. More moist is fine but dry is perfect for me. And also when ever I haven't smoked in a while for what ever reason the first smoke has a insanely high chance of going perfectly great. I don't always smoke on days off so...

    Cellaring Codgers

I still haven't tried Carter Hall. Well I tried it when I was 16 and hated all of the codger blends then that I tried. I almost liked some of them but they all had a gross quality I couldn't get over. I now know it's PG and that they can get off for me if I don't make sure my technique is great.

Knowing When to Quit a Bowl

a couple things are happening here and all of them are not good if they happen chronically. All of those things boil down to irritation. It could be chemical, allergic, or like eating too hot pizza and the temp singeing the roof of your mouth. The 4-5 days part is concerning. The mouth heals...

Knowing When to Quit a Bowl

pro tip if he's playing it that's a bass if he's trying to catch one it's a bass. Oh first ones the fish. As you can see in the picture it's trying to get away from him :)

Opinion: This Forum is the Friendliest.

it's certainly nice that this forum isn't gunked up with gatekeepers. I ignored pipe forums for so long because I kept running into people who had this real pipe smokers are b.s.. One I joined for a few days got told I wasn't a real pipe smoker for saying that Peterson Sunset breeze mellows out...

    The Dedicated Pipe Dilemma

never worried about it. The thing is I want to enjoy smoking a pipe. I don't need to have a pure experience every time. Frankly a lot of the rules some people espouse about pipes seem boarderline fetishistic to me more then practical.
