Ah. I'd missed that whole pageful of posts. My sympathies. Cheer yourself up with some awful McGonagall poetry. Or an Ivor Cutler monologue. It's been pissing down here too, by the way.See my earlier post
Whoever took that picture of @Sobrbiker and Bob should win a photography contestSo ... we're right on the Eve of the Holiday Season ... warmth, family, friends, love & emotion filling us.
So ... I have to ask my Forum brothers = WTH's going on with you guys? Are you trying to choke me up?
Me = 3-year Veteran, US Army ... former MN Olympic Weightlifting Champ ... 10th Grade 148lb B-Squad wrestler who chose to "wrestle up" in Heavy Weight class savoring 1 min pins of 300lb opponents ... former Night Club "doorman" (bouncer) for 4 years during college ... (cough, cough -- sorry for the bio).
Then Sobrbiker posts old pic right after saving Bob from meat auction (SNIFF).
Then BenMN posts pic of his boy after serious health problem (SNIFF).
And I just watched Cable TV shows counting down tonight (Fri), then hitting the switch lighting huge Christmas trees (SNIFF).

I think that those of us who feel our emotions are more fortunate than those that don't and gives us a better appreciation of this world we live in. I was watching programs as you were of tree lightings and singing and commented to my wife about the people in countries in this world that haven't advanced and live in horrible conditions and just how blessed we are.
And when I tear up when the American Flag passes in a parade and the band is playing or when I hear a beautiful Christmas Carol and I thank God for letting me cherish those moments.
All is right with the world so get out a handkerchief or tissue and pack a pipe
