How Beautiful

anyone else just find tobacco in all it's forms aesthetically pleasing? I think a pile of pipe tobacco looks beautiful. I think snuff looks nice. And I always dig on the looks of a cigar before smoking it. Anyone else also feel that way. Oh yeah and sometimes I just go and look at my jars.

Yup, I get it. I do the same. I am fortunate to live surrounded by tobacco fields too. I can't get away from it if I wanted to.

yes, totally agree. Looking at my stash is pleasing. Very pleasing.

Totally with you. I love all the different cuts and shapes in my stash: ribbon, shag, flake, broken flake, ropes, plugs, etc.

And there is nothing quite like opening a new tin of flake tobacco and seeing all of those stacks of flakes.

Also, we are a bunch of nerds.

Forgot how much I like seeing tobacco plants. They are so simple yet stately for a lack of a better way to put. Thanks for that.

Back in the times of cigarette factories, Winston-Salem and Durham, N.C., used to smell of tobacco all the time, like the smell of distilleries in Edinburgh, Scotland. I guess those distilleries in Kentucky must have their own bouquet.

I agree we're all nerds for sure. I do the same, opening and sniffing jars all the time, looking at the leaves and flakes. @chasingembers the ash too! anyone ever noticed how anything with some age on it will get little patches of orange or brown ash mixed in with the usual grey/white/black?
