Not far from finishing this bowl of D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Was walking when the rain started. Not sure if I'll get it all in day.

My first bowl of HH Rustica in a Matchless Billiard. I expected this one to be little bit harsher or more overwhelming by its taste. What I got was sweet, mellow smoke with wonderful floralness. It’s easy to smoke this too fast due to its tastiness and the dangers of severe nic-hit lie ahead constantly.View attachment 39630
I have 2 unopened tins waiting , thanks for info

It goes well with strong-brewed teas with cream, too. I used to enjoy coffee, but the acid indigestion I began to get after drinking it has put me off the brew, sadly.
There are a lot of teas to explore, I am definitely going to pair some teas with both Carter Hall and with the Ken Byron Ventures Burley morning pipe I just received.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, the rain stopped, and got a bit of walking in. Not far from finishing the last of my stash of 1970s Carter Hall in a 2015 Basil Meadows black sandblasted billiard with an aluminum band and a pearl red acrylic tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
