Another cigar while waiting for the storms: a Nub Maduro. Always amazes me that these stubby cigars smoke for 30-45 minutes.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am now smoking Smoker’s Pride Mellow Taste in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem with a p-lip. Time to do some walking reps.

I appreciate and enjoy many of the cigars I see you smoking. I've wondered about these, what do you think of them? I do like Backwoods "Sweet Aromatic," though I am often in the mood for one or any aromatic. I do like them better than most any aro cigar. Anyhoo, from reading on these they seemed like they might be good, but they were a little top heavy on price so I stuck with what I know I like with certainty.

He and Bruce W are (were) the masters of just the right amount of sandblasting. I don't recall ever seeing one and thinking "that one is off" or "it's too much" Just brilliant.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
