It is a Castello shape 55, with the proportions of a Sav 320. Chamber is 1 inch wide by 1inch deep. Morta too!

Beautiful pipe. The orange cream-esque stem is a looker too.
Yes it is white and caramel. The caramel looks really realistic in person. I normally prefer a more traditional stem but this pipe’s proportions were too good to pass up.
Yes the stem is a polyester mouthpiece of butterscotch and cream color. The pipe has a very tactile feel too. The way the grain of the Morta is running is give it a very distinct feel. I was really on the fence on paying such a high price for a pipe but I will be getting more Askwith pipes going forward. This is the best crafted pipe I own and have over 30 pipes.
The "Askwith" pipes are also excellent and great way to get into a superior pipe at a reasonable cost. (similar to the Talbert Ligne Bretagne line)
I would never be able to manage a chamber of that width but that is a beautiful looking pipe in every way. NICE!

Congratulations! I am a big fan of Chris Askwith. He cuts his own morta blocks and leave them to dry for at least one year before making pipes from them. Really nice fellow too and very easy to talk to.
