***What Are You Smoking, May 2020?***

Do you see differences between this pipe and more expensive Peterson's? Or we just pay for the sliver bands and the spigot nonsense?

***What Are You Smoking, May 2020?***

I strongly recommend the Dan Pipe No Name 3. Is excellent for all day smoke and I buy it for 98euros the kilo from Germany. then I experiment by mixing it with more expensive tobacco. And it smokes nicely in my bent Peteron year pipe of the year 2000. I think my best Peterson.

    Peterson's

This is exactly like the 1997 one I got. Nice stain no need for polishing but some how I think it does not allow the pipe to breath. Also the bowl is rather huge. The ring is silver with gold on the surface.

    Peterson's

At the moment I have the two photographs. Ths silver lid one, is rather expensive but I bought it on ebay few years ago on a reasonable price. Nice vulcanite stem but I smokes very wet.

    Peterson's

I bought the first limited edition back in 1997. The only ones that does not need polishing. And I think the best limited edition they ever made. However the year 2002 pipes are excellent too especially the bent spigot one. This I suppose is what they call mellow briar. I have too the 1905 and...

    Memories

I bought my first pipe in Italy back in 1982. However I started to get serious about pipe smoking in 1991 in Wales. In good old Swansea. Regular visits to the tobacconists. The first Peterson's. Some aromatic blends with apricot some scottish flakes and all those english blends not for beginners...

    Rotation Routine

Yes. You are right indeed. I think I will go gradually. But turning back from cigarette smoking problem is that in the morning I need some nicotine. Self-disciplines you are. Alas now with the coronavirus I smoke all day long. Oh Dear I should get some discipline.

    Rotation Routine

Any advice and experience on how you rotate tobaccos is highly welcomed. I smoke flakes mainly stragith virginia but it gets heavy. So when I am fed up I smoke a bowl with aromatic blends. So what's the better routine? Start the day with some aromatic and then move to unscented tobaccos?
