    Another Annoying Canadian

Welcome to the forum canucklehead, from a fellow Canuck and Albertan :puffy: . There are quite a few of us on here.

Some Pipe Tobaccos Produced in Italy

Interesting. I have some in-laws there and may have to see if I can get some. Just at the local tobacconist or where are they available?

    L.J. Peretti 2017 Thanksgiving Day

I just received my L.J. Peretti's 2017 Thanksgiving Day blend cakes and looking forward to indulging this weekend. Thanksgiving is but a memory in Canada, but I will be smoking some of this blend, drinking some Scotch, smoking some meat in the smoker and watching our CFL Grey Cup football...

    Canadian Box Pass Round 3

Any updates on the Canadian Box Pass? Seems that it has been 4-5 months since the box has moved as far as I can tell.

    Canadians: Walper Tobacco Shop?

To the best of my knowledge, there is no interprovincial shipping of tobacco in Canada, it is province specific. So, as this is an Ontario company, they can only legally ship within Ontario, not any other province, unless they have a store there as well.

    Canadian Box Pass Round 3

Wondering if this is the newest Canadian Box Pass, if it is play and what the status would be?

    First Snow Here in Alberta

shikano53, looking at your pictures, I thought for a second that it was my and my neighbours house across the street from you, lol. We have a park across the street from us, so it is not our houses, but sure looks like it.

    First Snow Here in Alberta

Yeah, it is quite cool out there right now, lol. Mostly rain, but could snow at anytime. Edmonton got some snow yesterday and Nordegg, out near the Rocky Mountains, has a snowfall warning up. Guess I won't be going camping up that way this weekend.

Wines that go well with English blends?

Try an aged port wine......... I like Taylor Fladgate and it should do very well with an English.

    Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader

I did not enjoy Squadron Leader upon opening. I left it for about a month and it was much more enjoyable.

BAT Buys Reynolds; Altria Buys Nat Sherman

I quite enjoyed that store. Went in there, bought my 50 "allotted" cigars, plus a few walk around NYC cigars. I smoked a nice big cigar up front by the entrance in some very luxurious chairs, chatting to a few execs about good scotch whiskey and vacation spots.

    4noggins shipping

I assume you are using the postal system now and before. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess. Might have something to do with the previous upcoming postal strike. I have an order from them, on the way, and typically takes 10 days for it to arrive.

    Oldest tobacconist in Ma.

I visited Peretti's when I visited Boston a few years ago. It is a wonderful shop, very unique and interesting. I loved the staff and enjoyed the banter while sampling their tobacco's. Bought a nice Canadian while there and think about my time there when smoking the pipe.Visit there if you can...

    Canadian Box Pass Round 3

For sure you need more than one week to sample all that the Box Pass has to offer. FTR, I put in the SG 1792 into the box. With all I heard, I was excited to try this tobacco and in the end was let down with how I felt about it. I think I brought in 200 - 250G and once the tax man had his way...
