    A Visit to Missouri Meerschaum

Very much appreciate the post and pics. Sir, there is a thread in this forum, “Vintage Missouri Meerschaum pipes.” that asks about dating some nice old cobs. I’m curious about the dates myself, and you seem knowledgeable on the subject. Could you weigh in?

    Pipe Sighting at the Movies

Recently came across a neat little western I watched years ago, Hellfire, remembered I had enjoyed it, so watched again. Positive recollection confirmed. It’s a Republic B western vehicle for cowboy star William “Wild Bill” Elliott, with an excellent supporting cast including the lovely Marie...

    Dumb (Ignorant?) Question

I I found Villiger, but looking for the originals too. The Villiger marked pouches are about half the cost of the original Sutliffs I’ve found.

    Dumb (Ignorant?) Question

Thanks for the information. I have found one seller who still has some in stock, so I will get it while I can.

    CS Lewis Pipe Smoking Anecdote

An old friend of mine, gone now, had a wardrobe that consisted almost entirely of jeans and t-shirts. The shirts all had holes in them from the embers of the cigars he smoked constantly. The older the shirt, the more holes.
