Off of Social Media, didn't realize forums were still a thing
I think people are misunderstanding. The issue in Vegas is a lack of moisture in the air, not an abundance. The humidity in Vegas affects my humidors more than my pipe tobacco. I place all of my opens in mason jars, so the dry air does not have an impact. I guess the takeaway is do not smoke...- quaffer

Smokingpipes.com is great and I do more business with them than any other online retailer. There are others that I really like (Al Pascia, for instance), but I always gravitate to SP.com. I do not understand online shops that don't post pipe dimensions. At a minimum, I have to know overall...- quaffer

Opinions on metal pipes?
I have a couple of Kirstens and like them a lot. They are great smokers, in my opinion, but are different from briars in a few key ways: -- The bowls are quite small relative to a typical group 4 pipe. -- The bowls are severely conical, which means I pack them differently than I do my briars...- quaffer

FNG Question - Acrylic stems
No, they do not discolor like vulcanite and require no maintenance, other then keeping them clean and clear of gunk. That's why I greatly prefer acrylic over vulcanite and makers that use it.- quaffer
