    The Holy Trinity - Recommendations

I've got about 15-20 sample tobaccos now, and I've found myself swaying to the darker blends. Squadron Leader, Perfection are my clear favourites at the moment with Peterson Sherlock Holmes closely following. Josh

First week - Many, Many Questions... Beginner help pls!

I must say I'm enjoying this new hobby every day, and find myself looking forward to clocking off from work so I can go enjoy a pipe and a coffee. There's something ritualistic that addds to the experience. Starting to find the sweet spot where a pipe requires less than the 5-10 relights and...

    Rum!

Usually whatever's cheapest. But I do enjoy a hennessey occasionally, though scotch is my go-to usually.

    Keeping open tins fresh

Great post! I've just got my first "full" tin of tobacco and am wondering about storage. Going to invest in some mason jars, I think the old pickle jars won't do, unless you enjoy vinegar flavoured tobacco. I imagine it's ok to use the same jar for different tobaccos once you've emptied?

    The Holy Trinity - Recommendations

Mso - Walter Raleigh has been recommended to me on more than one occasion I believe that might make my list. Stud - I must admit my plan of having everyone recomment the same three tobaccos kind of backfired. Its really great to see the variance in answers though, variance is important to me...

    Clan

Clan is a familiar smell for me, every weekend at my grandads, clan ruled the roost. I remember rubbing his tobacco for him aged 5 or 6. Apparently it's less well received on the smokers end. It's an over the counter here in the UK, which is a huge positive. I'm on condor at the moment, will...

    The Holy Trinity - Recommendations

Hi all, New pipe smoker, currently smoking Condor ready rubbed, which I'm really enjoying. Full bodied smoke wakes me up in the morning and sends me to sleep at night. But I know this is only the beginning. I'm already prepping for my pay-day splurge. I want to ideally buy three tobaccos that...

How to Properly Break in a New Pipe

I was cautious as hell with my first pipe, I didn't smoke it until watching a dozen or so videos on what to do. Some say to line the bowl with honey, or use some saliva. Some say only pack half a bowl for the first 6 or so smokes. There was a lot of different opinions. I searched high and low...

First week - Many, Many Questions... Beginner help pls!

Hey guys, I left the comfort of the forums and decided to go smoke me some pipe. I've have 1 - 2 bowls a night since I first posted and since the struggles, I feel like I'm now at a point in which the whole process is gelling. I've returned from my 5th consecutive smoke that burned just...
