    GLP Windjammer at Watch City

Too bad they sold out already. I was going to email Ernie to see if he'd bust open a tin and sell me an ounce?

    1st. Cup O’ Joes Order - LOL

Sorry if I took it the wrong way, but it just seemed like an odd question to me. We have a few great shops here, but like ADKpiper said, the tax makes you buy online and I have mentioned the tobacco tax repeatedly in the past because I feel bad for these small businesses and want to keep them...

    1st. Cup O’ Joes Order - LOL

That's good to know. Maybe things have changed.

    1st. Cup O’ Joes Order - LOL

I live about an hour away and try to support all the local shops like them, Edleez, Park Lane and Havana Premium. Why the accusatory question?

    1st. Cup O’ Joes Order - LOL

Cup O' Joes is a great shop. Sadly, the price isn't their fault, it's taxes, not overhead. From their website: Is your order shipping to New York State? If YES please be aware of the following charges. They will be automatically added to your shopping cart for your approval. We must add tax as...

    Choosing a Pipe

Smoking pipes has a couple of Tsuge pipes on sale for $35. I would get one of those. To be honest and go against the grain here, I didn't enjoy a cob until I got an older one which had a tighter draw and a more substantial stem.

    Back In Black (Stem Query)

I had one Stanwell that did the same thing just at the button area no matter what I tried to do to fix it. I thought maybe that one stem was reacting to my saliva. No other stem reacted like that one.

    1923 Dunhill P10 --- Sandblast From Another World (Restored & Re-Stemmed)

Beautiful! Please come back to posting your work more often. I'm sure the videos are a pain to produce, but many of us love watching them and would appreciate seeing one pop up from time to time.

    24 or 48 Hours Rest?

You should wipe out the bowl and mortise after smoking. Any gunk will stay in there if you don't get it out. It's the accumulation that is making it sour. If you smoke 20 bowls a week, it may taste sour within the week if you don't clean it. If you rest it a day between smokes, it will be a...

    Sharpening a Xikar Cutter?

The company changed hands a couple of years ago. Sharpening may have been done by the old owners, but as the email you received says, you can get it replaced under the lifetime warranty. Mine has been great for many years and cigars.

Thrifty Storage: The Tupperdor vs. The Coolidor

I think you could stay with the tupperdor. As mentioned above, cooler part of the house and away from sunlight is important. Bovedas work great. Heartfelt beads are another great alternative. They are reusable, so don't let the initial cost keep you from getting some. In my experience, humidity...

Just Found Out I am Restoring the Pipes of a Convicted Murderer

We don't know the history of the majority of our estate pipes. I'm sure we all have at least one estate that belonged to an unsavory type. I'm sure the people that get my estates will think that :) Enjoy them and can't wait to see them cleaned up.

    Barbary Coast

It is a great blend. 99% of the time, I have coffee, tea or water with a pipe. The other 1% is Barbary Coast with a glass of port.
