Smoking Pipes delisted some Rattray's tins?

I emailed SPC and they said they are still carrying all the Rattray's blends, they are just sold out. Still think it's weird they would delist some of them, while others are still listed as out of stock, but hey, what do I know?

Smoking Pipes delisted some Rattray's tins?

I noticed tonight that Hal, Old Gowrie, Red Rap, Marlin Flake are no longer available in 100g tins on Smoking Pipes. Sterling Flake and Brown Clunee aren't even listed anymore. Anyone know why?

    Dead Root Brair

He turned 89 this year and his website calls it 'aged root briar'. He started stocking piling old briar in the 1960's as prices continued to rise each year. He makes wonderful pipes.

    2022 Cringle Flake

    2022 Cringle Flake

I agree. Seems to be somewhat of a mixed bag for some people, but I think it's an outstanding blend. I ordered another 4 tin's yesterday after smoking a bowl on the weekend. There aren't many manufacturers around that can produce 20 year old tobaccos.

    Haunted Bookshop pricing?

I suspected it may have been something to do with components but nice to hear it from the source. Thanks for responding to the thread and giving some clarity, much appreciated.

    Haunted Bookshop pricing?

Does anyone know why Haunted Bookshop has different pricing than other C&D blends? Bulk, ribbon and cake in tin are more expensive than any other C&D blend. A couple months ago all blends were the same price.

    Re-thinking Wistfulness for Tobacco Exclusivity

Not entirely sure I'm answering the question at this point but here are my wooden nickels. The internet obviously transformed the relationship between a pipe smoker and their tobacco. I can sit at home and order literally order hundreds of different tobacco's straight to my front door. But in my...
