Anybody Smoke Whole Leaf WITHOUT Straight-No Casings?

I've had a non-commercial uncased burley and it was fantastic. I don't typically smoke straight burleys. Go for it, I say.

    Looking for a Recommendation

So, I had a couple bowls of Embarcadero and Janus. I really like both and can't say which I like better. These are really great tobaccos, and I am happy for the recommendations. They are both going to be among my favorites now, and I will be buying more to stock up. I would definitely...

Wow, a bunch of them. Thanks, guys! Thanks for mentioning Peretti. I was not aware of them. Ended up ordering some Embarcadero and Janus for now.

    Looking for a Recommendation

Does anyone know of a VA/oriental blend without latakia or flavorings? I can't really think of any, nor have I found any while browsing. Any ideas?

What are You Drinking? (January 2021)

Ardbeg Uigeadail is my favorite, but a bottle is over $100 in my area, Heck, even the Laphroaig 10 is $70.

Samuel Gawith St James Flake - An Exercise in Frustration

When I smoke SG tobaccos, I open the tin to break the seal, then close it and let it sit for a couple days before I try to smoke it. When I smoke SG tobaccos, I open the tin to break the seal, then close it and let it sit for a couple days before I try to smoke it. Always had good results...

Sail Yellow The Budweiser Of Blends

I remember having to work in British Columbia for 6 months, and I couldn't take enough tobacco through customs. Well, I had to buy local, and Sail was all that was available. The yellow was my favorite, but it was still almost $30 a pouch.

Samuel Gawith Black XX Rope Review

I smoked a tin of this stuff years ago. I remember it being enjoyable, but not my thing. I think I would like to revisit this tobacco at some point. It may pair well with a glass of Laphroaig. Also, good call on the cigar cutter.

    Peterson Irish Oak (Cask)

I used to love this stuff when it was Irish Oak, and I can't wait to try it again. I always smoked it in an old Waldorf Dublin that I'm trying to get fixed up. Would be nice to burn some Irish Cask through when it is ready.

    Who Else Loves Old Gowrie?

I also love Old Gowrie. That and Marlin Flake are my favorite Rattray's, but they are all tasty, high quality blends. Can't wait to get some soon.

    Good Ol’ Cob

Nice. I need to pick up a cob pipe. I had one years ago, but it was a bit worn.
