Are You Purchasing More Or Less Tobacco Currently?

I've been buying less ever since Maryland added its Excise Tax. Basically I order a pound when I'm close to running out of what I'm currently smoking. It's a sad balance haha

Absolute Best Knife For Cutting Plugs

The kabar has always suited me just fine. I've removed the black grippy finish though, and made the edge finer.

Recommendations on Tobacco and/or Pipe Related Books?

K.M. Kuntz has a big table book called "Smoke" that I really enjoyed. Full of pictures of old advertisements and actors (including the great Edward G. Robinson) enjoying their leaf of choice

    My Favorite Noose

Going to load the old MM this morning, I found much to my horror that I'm nearly out of rope tobacco. I'd love to get some more, but it seems like the few online sites I know of are sold out of every rope or twist they carry. Does anyone have any idea why the supply is so low, or know of a...

    Mixing Five Brothers

Honestly, Five Brothers done up 80/20 with some blending perique is my favorite smoke. I cannot believe the missus doesn't kick me outside any time I light it up, however. Certainly an intense room note.

    Got Anything For IPSD 2018?

Picked up a box of Bandidos (I have a soft spot for cheroots, watched a lot of westerns growing up) and a pound of Sutliffs Rum & Maple just to try something new. I haven't smoked an aro in a long time, I tend to stick to my Sam Gawaith.

    Pocket Pipe

Nose warmers? Not a term Ive heard, I'll have to look into that. And I am a BIG fan of Peterson, so those will definitely go on the list!

    Pocket Pipe

I have always heard great things about Savinelli. I couldn't imagine size would affect quality.

    Pocket Pipe

Those are both some interesting looking choices. Either of you ever try them? That rolex looks wild, like a fish haha.

    Pocket Pipe

So, I'm currently looking for a pipe that's more pocket friendly in size. I've seen the Big Ben Pipo and Ranger series, but was wondering if anyone knows of other quality pipes in that shape/size range. Also, if you've owned either of those, or any that are similar, how did you like them?
