Hands Down Still the Best Resource

I haven't been on in quite some time and I hope you all have been well. I still see some familiar faces and it's nice to see things are still up and running.

    Stanwell PipeJar Combo

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. I hope your holidays are filled with all that you enjoy. Have any of you purchased the Stanwell PipeJar combo that's being advertised on P&C? I am curious as to the quality of the jar, given it's seal, I am sure it's not something that you can store tobacco...

Would you be so kind as to share where, Gogosamgo?

    Stanwell 2010 POTY

Your timing for posting this is perfect. After all of the Bing chatter on the forum the last couple of days, I have conducted a few google searches trying to locate this very pipe. I had a chance to order one new a couple years ago and I passed, one of my many pipe regrets. I too, will write...

    New Custom Oak Pipe Cabinet

I hope it's okay sharing on this thread, but this might be helpful to those looking for unique storage option. It's been while since I posted this, but I re-purposed my great-grandmothers bookcase, which her father made, in to a pipe cabinet. Although, it doesn't fully accommodate my collection...

    Mr. Foote Interview

When he delivers the "We never thought much of Mr. Lincoln in my household..." is perfect. What a story, actually much more than a story. Dutch65, what a great read, and what high advice from Mr. Foote towards young writers. It's nice to see others hold Mr. Foote in such high regard. I fear...

    Mr. Foote Interview

Thought you all might find this interesting. Mr. Foote was a phenomenal human being, author, historian and gentleman. If you have time, it's worth the three hour listen and if you haven't read Mr. Foote before, I recommend you get started. I cued it up as he starts to speak about old age. Enjoy...

    Savinelli Bings Favorite

Thinking about Bing has me all sentimental, here is one of "Bing's Favorites" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vfuvf0qoccw

    Savinelli Bings Favorite

Nice, I like that without the bend. I have a Chiara stained Bing's Favorite, as well as one like you have pictured. The bend has never bothered me, but that damn golf club sure does.

    Nording Hunter Blend Labrador

Thanks Cosmic, I appreciate that. I've tried Lane's Hazelnut and I too would agree that he may prefer the McC blend, given the qualities of the Lane.

    Nording Hunter Blend Labrador

Anyone have a recommendation for a bulk blend that is similar or a close match to Nording Hunter Blend Labrador? I am asking on behalf of my father-in-law and I know he would appreciate any feedback you can lend. Thanks.

    What constitutes an aromatic?

Hey Chuckp, I appreciate that you posted the article. I just returned to the site after a two-year hiatus and found the article to be helpful. I remember when Russ originally posted it and I've since forgot about it, so it was nice to see it again. Keep posting and no need to apologize.
