    Not an Aromatic Fan, However!

It has been quite awhile ago, but I remember Admirals Choice Vanilla cavendish as being very good. It was sold at CVS drugstores. I don't where to buy it now, but it is worth looking for. Admirals Choice cherry was also very good.

    Blood Red Moon

Cult Blood Red Moon has a smooth, cool, thick creamy mouth feel like nothing else. I only wish I was available in bulk, I went through 4 tins of it last month. It is my top choice for cherry blends. Lane Black Raspberry is another must try.

Biggest Lessons Learned On Pipe Smoking

Keep your pipes CLEAN. A dirty pipe is a bitter smoke. Don't believe it? just put your tongue to dirty stem! :(

    Stanwell 207 vs Savinelli 311KS

I have an Alligator 311 ks, that I got from Ben at Tobaccopipes.com. Overall, it is a good smoking pipe. I put in the "no filter" adapter from day one, I don't care for filters, but the option is there if you choose to. I like that it sits flat, it is convenient pick up and put down. It is well...

    Comoy's Cask#7 And Bayou Morning

Cosmic...I have never put two & two together before, but I think you are absolutely right! When I look back on it the C&D virginias all seem a little harsh. Has anyone tried their Yorktown mixture? I think McCelland probably has the best line of virginias overall.

    Comoy's Cask#7 And Bayou Morning

Got an order from Tobaccopipes.com a few days ago. Besides my usual tins of sweet aromatics, such a Cult Blood Moon, and a tin of Peterson's St. Patrick's Day, I picked up an assortment of VaPer's. They are Comoy's cask #7, C&D Bayou morning, and C&D Autumn Evening. So far, I'm liking Cask...

Any Ex Or Current RYO Smokers?

Three sails sounds like it is just what i'm looking for. Thank you for the link. Does anyone know of a bulk virginia like three sails? I would go through a tin in just a few days.

Any Ex Or Current RYO Smokers?

I've done that with PA, but I'm looking for something to put in a pipe that will give me a taste similar to the RYO. I miss doing the RYO thing, but i'm not going back to them. I enjoy all the variety pipe tobacco gives me. Petersons Aran blend reminded me of the taste i'm after, if it didn't...

Any Ex Or Current RYO Smokers?

My intention is to use a pipe. I don't smoke cigarettes any more. I started with a pipe in the early 80's, and went to RYO in the early 90's. When CVS stop selling tobacco products, I went back to a pipe, because pipe tobacco is easy to get online, not to mention, it's pretty damn enjoyable...

Any Ex Or Current RYO Smokers?

Sorry, not trying to be vague , just looking for a pipe tobacco with a flavor profile similar to the RYO listed in the first post. The cheap virginia you get at the minimart is a little harsh. :-)
