    Pipe collection

Every time I see one of those gun pipes, as a gun owner, I cringe a little bit. I don't like the thought of putting a gun in my mouth, even if its a toy or a pipe. Anyone else have a similar reaction or am I crazy?

    Old Dark Fire

yaz - thanks for the video, I guess I was doing it right! Except for making sure the bottom was pretty loose, I didn't think about it like the 3 step method. Makes sense.

    Old Dark Fire

After reading this, I realized that I've always put the U shaped end of the folded flake into the bottom of my bowl, and I've always had a harder time smoking the last bit of it. I'll have to try the "MacBaren method", maybe this will help a bit. Thanks for the link Per!!

    Preventing Cake in a Cob

I usually use a very dull pipe "knife" and kind of scrape the walls of the bowl with that. Just enough to make sure nothing is built up, but not enough to dig into the walls. I tried wiping out the bowl afterwards, but I kind of feel like it's a bit wasteful with paper towels.

Reccomend some must try english blends?

+1 for Blue Mountain, which McClelland is changing it's name to Balkan Blue (due to some copyright issues). Not really sure if it's considered an "English" blend, it's quite oriental forward for me, but I've been enjoying Magnum Opus A LOT lately. Penzance honestly isn't all that hard to...

    Pipe collection

Pretty nice collection there. It would be difficult to acertain a value without more information on the brand, more individual pictures, etc. Even then, there's no way to tell what you would get selling them to a dealer. Have you tried to email places that sell estate pipes, like...

    Bluegrass / New-Grass

It's interesting that the state I live in (Minnesota) has such a thriving bluegrass scene. Someone already mentioned Trampled by Turtles (from Duluth), who are absolutely amazing: [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk2xM_YuP2o&feature=youtu.be&t=19s]...

    GBD Virgin 549 Bulldog (Unsmoked!)

One of my favorite shapes ever! Does that have a stain or wax on it? Looks very natural.

Searching for a good and good looking lighter

I've heard good things about THESE lighters, seems cheap enough to take a gamble. But I too primarily use my Zippo pipe lighter. Lifetime warranty!! :-)
