    Metal Bands and Caps

Here is a product I’m considering. Flat nickel strips. I could cut and solder them.

    Comoy Rescue

Whoa! @RustiePyles CPG those look incredible.

    Metal Bands and Caps

I have checked the Forum for this discussion and, while I've come across a few posts, I just have a hunch there might be more specific information available from the collective group here that's worth conjuring up. Maybe not, but it's worth a shot. I'm not a pipe repair man but lately I've...

    Show Off Your Kaywoodie Pipes

Been working on cleaning up this KBB Yello-Bole with a beautiful stem! Can’t wait to smoke it. The unique shank and the stem are two favorite parts. Based on the info in another thread I think it’s in the 1932-1940s.

    Jim's SG Burnt Ends Review.

About three bowls in and I agree. FVF is my desert island tobacco and so I wanted to try this. It’s certainly different than FVF… not so much in flavor as burn tendency and nuance. A strange thought I had when smoking this was: this is a much lighter Va version of Ken Byron’s “Byronic Hiro.”...

    Zippo Yellow Flame Pipe Insert

This is my experience with exactly. If you want to use a zippo plus butane, the newer zippo-made brand inserts are the best I’ve found. Zpipe and Thunderbird simply didn’t last and I tried multiples of them. Apart from an old boy, the new zippo brand inserts easily get my vote.

    Which Luxury Lighter?

In my experience this is an easy answer: IM corona old boy 100%. And, by the way, I don’t think I’ve ever read or heard that Kiribi was more durable than IM Corona lighters,,. Reading that in the comments above was a first for me.

    Merchant Service Bing

Can anyone clarify whether there are any MS Bing pipes available right now?

    Merchant Service Bing

Beautiful pipe. Is that the smaller Bing? I have an estate MS Bing. It looks beautiful and smoke decently well. I was hoping to purchase another one but, between their instagram feed and their website, I'm completely confused as to when, where, and how to purchase one of their pipes directly!

    Just Bought a Fancier Tamper

For those who have the 8decos, are they all the same length and weight? I’m finally interested in getting a nicer tamper but want it to have some weight and length as well. It looks like there are heavy shorter tampers around (like in brass) but not ones that have both length and weight. Would...

Jim's Sutliff Cringle Flake 2023 Review.

Picked up some tins tonight. I’ve enjoyed all the Cringle Flakes- even and especially with there ingredient variations. So, I’ll enjoy an oriental component this year!

    Zippo Butane Pipe Lighter Insert

Following up on this to say that this particular zippo insert is as functionally good and useful as my $200 Old Boy, and completely higher quality than the Thunderbird or Zpipe insert! Very pleased with it.

    Filling Bite Marks on Stems

George, curious if G-Flex will work for adding material to a tenon as well? JB

    Playing With Different Stem Length

I really enjoy reading and working with a longer stem bing-style pipe and so I’ve been retro fitting longer stems to pipes like this Hardcastle Canadian. (It’s definitely not perfect but I hope to get better. I’m using stem blanks, PIMO tenon tool, and files.)
