    Pipe Rotation

I do have more than enough for a rotation...but I really only ever smoke the same 3 or 4 on a regular basis. I smoke my cavalier several times a day, every day. Perhaps smoking it and taking it apart hot several times a day could cause a crack.

    Show Off Your Innovations

After an absence caused by an assignment, and then the need for an appendectomy, I have a few more interesting pipes to share This one is the Doodler. Probably one many of you have seen. It's one of the more gimmicky pipes, but it smokes very well, and it reminds me of a wooden version of...

    Show Off Your Innovations

As suggested by OzPiper, here are two of my favourite "innovative" system pipes. The first is the Jima, a plastic and metal body, with a clay bowl The system is a hollow tube, basically: Within that tube is an "electrostatic" filter, basically just a tight coil of wire. It is impossible...

    Review of Smoking Pipes Reviews

I seldom read reviews, but I have seen certain tobaccos with reviews that have nothing to do with the actual tobacco ~ well I didn't get this newly released tobacco yet, but it's great! ? But, Smoking Pipes usually has all my tobacco needs, so I almost always buy from them.

Lifes Been a Little Rough This Last Year.

My condolences. I know from experience it's not easy. The pain won't go away...but it will get better, I promise! And the pipe is a real beauty! Enjoy it!

    Irish Clay Estate Pipe

This paper mentions the Ulster Pipe Works as still being in operation in 1907. However, it doesn't say if they continued to operate after that date. It's definitely a great little pipe! Higgins and White 1997 - Belfast Pipemakers -...

In a few moments, I will, for the first time, try a bowl of Three Star Blue in an unfinished Molina.

Has Forums Gone Budget On Pipes?

Granted, I don't read every post. Maybe I avoid the show your pipes posts for the reason you mentioned...the unnecessarily envious digs that are sometimes given. At any rate, I love pipes! Low or high, I like to see someone enjoying what they have.

Has Forums Gone Budget On Pipes?

I love pipes of all shapes, sizes, and prices! I wouldn't personally buy a pipe that cost over a certain amount, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing them! But it seems to me I see less low-end pipes here than high-end. In fact, I don't usually take photos of the pipes I get, simply...

    Filter Fanatic or Filter Carper

I don't generally use filters. I use a Tsuge Kulu Cool, and the Brigham distillators(I do think these restrict the draw...but I bought 4 boxes of them, so I'm going to use them!), and the Jima electrostatic filters, none of which are filters in the traditional sense ~ but they serve a similar...

    Wood Match Annoyance

I think there is a difference between matches just in general. I use the strike anywhere matches. After my Mom died, I found a big box of them in her pantry. They were much more substantial. I don't know if burleybreath uses these or the strike on box kind, but the new strike anywhere...

    Wood Match Annoyance

Matches today aren't what they used to be. I also prefer a match, but the cheap quality of matches made today has diminished my enthusiasm somewhat.
