    Thoughts on Trays ?

Paper or a tin lid works fine...but I like a mat of leather of late. Have one that has 4 corners that latch together to keep the tobacco from spilling out too much. Works nice and looks great!

    Time to Confess

Getting to the point that if the pending Zombie Apocalypse occurs I will be fine in terms of tobacco. That's my goal!!

    Mixing the Remnants?

I've got a jar set aside with various remnants as well as most of tin of one of the John Cottons that showed up overly dry from P and C (tin seal had been broken at some time before shipping and it was overly dry). Haven't dipped in yet. Vast mix of different tobacco.

Curious what gift they send next month. Kinda waiting it out to see what else the provide in upcoming months. Love the idea of this.

Yikes! The Tin Note - Yum! The Taste

I recently opened a tin of old CandD Red Odessa. Smell was immediately off putting to me, putridly tangy. I do have to say the first few bowls were not much better, but I found the right pipe to smoke it in and let it dry a bit and am now finding it quite good.

    Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake

A nice and enjoyable Virginia...if you are a fan of Virginias I don't think you can go wrong with this one...not sure it is a standout, but a good smoke nonetheless.

    McClellan Christmas Cheer

Make some friends at.a local pipe club...Im sure someone has some stashed...I know I do. Will break one of them out this Christmas....no substitute for McClelland however...they were an entity unto themselves.
