    Gal From Oklahoma

Welcome from Northern California. Both sides of my family comes from Oklahoma. I grew up with beans and cornbread. Chow chow and what not. When I was a kid my birthday breakfast request was biscuits and gravy.

Candy Like Sweet Aromatics Recommendations Please

I’ve followed my sweet tooth quite a bit. Sutlif maple street really hit the mark for me. Molto Bulce was so wet it was almost impossible to keep lit. 1Q. Mixed with MD 50/50 was tasty and that’s how I finished the tin. I also like Mac Baren vanilla cream flake quite a bit. It’s the only...

    Only Three Containers Of Tobacco

#1. Ask your sweet heart for an address of where she will be staying. #2. Order one pound of bulk each. 1Q, Burley light, and something that tickles your fancy. Have it sent to the address for her to pick up. Technically it’s three containers of tobacco! Your welcome

    Lane 1-Q

If I see some tobacco I like at pipes and cigars that has a P&C $10 card deal I’ll get it. Then wait for a deal on Lane’s tobacco in the pound bag. Just received a pound of RLP6. A pound lasts me a good while as I’m not a daily smoker. I’ve got me a pound of RLP and 1Q that I haven’t dipped into...

New Member from Bay Area, California

Smokers paradise in San Jose is no longer unfortunately. There is Mission pipes close to downtown but it’s more of a cigar place. There is Edwards in Los Altos. I believe that Edwards was owned by the same person who owned smokers paradise?

Very limited pipe tobacco in Asia

You could buy bulk tobacco and have it shipped to your family state side. Then when they visit once a year they could put it in their checked bags. Delayed gratification but it would avoid double shipping costs. Pipes and cigars has a sale at the moment on Lanes bulk. One pound bags are $27.50...

New Member from Bay Area, California

Nice area. When I lived in Campbell I fished Lexington a lot. We almost bought a house on the other side of Highway 17. It was not meant to be and we ended up in the burbs in south San Jose. I also grew up in the area.

Very limited pipe tobacco in Asia

If you have family in the US who could buy and ship to you it might get through customs easier? I use to work for a wine club in California. One customer would buy wine then when he visited on business I would package it for him and he would take it to ship himself and say it was olive oil to...

Hello From SF Bay Area California

I’m also from the Bay Area. South Bay AKA Silicon Valley. What area are you living in? If ya like fishing we can talk about that also. I use Flickr as a photo site to post on the forums. Also, taste is subjective and also evolves. So save the nightcap and try other blends. Revisit it later on.

    Campfire cooking

First night at the camp site. We bring a zip lock bag of cooked rice. Bacon, green onions, eggs. Bacon fried rice. Next night is baked potatoes in the coals and rib eye steak. Love pie irons for sweets or savory sandwiches. If we catch fish, even better dinner. One of my fishing buddies hunts...

Has Anyone Ever Eaten Pemmican? It Sounds Utterly Disgusting!

I’ve never had the real pemmican. I would give it a try. We occasionally get sweet jerky from the Chinese market. I prefer the spicy Vietnamese version but the Chinese strawberry pork jerky is surprisingly good. http://soojerky.com/products/pork-jerky/fruit/
